The Building Regulations apply to building work in England & Wales and set standards for the design and construction of buildings to ensure the health and safety of people in and around those buildings. They include requirements to ensure minimum acceptable standards for:

  • Health, Safety and Welfare
  • Conservation of Fuel & Power (Part L)
  • Access and use of buildings (including for people with disabilities)

Energy assessments for compliance are conducted using the Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) for dwellings. The SAP assessment determines a building’s energy performance to ensure compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations — see our SAP / EPC service.

Do you handle Building Regulations applications for small domestic projects?

Do you cover Cornwall and the wider South West?
